This component rewrites Joomla! URLs to be Search Engine Friendly (SEF)
and provided other Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Tools.
Multilingualism (more language versions, translated URLs) is supported
via cooperation with JoomFish. Makes it possible to edit your meta-tags
from one place. Upgrades will be easy and painless thanks to the new
on-line update features. Extensive support of 3rd party components thanks to SEF Extension installer.
Version 3.x series will work with Joomla! 1.5, now also in native mode! It is
not backward compatible with Joomla! 1.0. For 1.0, use latest 2.x
version (from ARTIO JoomSEF homepage).
This is a free version that does not provide you with any support or extras. It
also adds link to authors and their webpage to a site footer. To get a support and have the link removed, please, get a JoomSEF membership - 3 months, 6 months or 1 year. You can also buy paid version and support time. directly from ARTIO on per-case basis, if you do not want to register as a member.
